Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
The PROMOTE website is designed to be used by as many people as possible, with text that should be clear and simple to understand. A user should be able to:
- Zoom in on webpages up to 300% without problems
- Navigate around the websites using just a keyboard
- Navigate around the websites using speech recognition software
- Use screen readers when viewing the various web pages.
